Abstract

This article explores some of Hannelore Wass’s many contributions to the field of death, dying, and bereavement as well as her distinctive teaching and mentoring gifts. It chronicles the highlights of a 30-year relationship that began as shared interests in death, dying and bereavement, expanded into sharing of classroom techniques and models and ultimately became a lasting and treasured friendship.
