Here and hereafter: Preparing business students for a data-driven world

Abstract

This case study describes activities developed by academic librarians to provide data literacy opportunities to graduate and undergraduate business students. These opportunities were provided by a data-related program in the libraries and in-class activities. Topic modules for the data program and steps for course-related data visualizations and are discussed. Conclusions reached as to the impact and acceptance of these programs and future directions are presented.
