The equation had determination coefficients (R) of 0.89 for the calibration. The formula for estimating the amylose content of starch was obtained using milled rice from 27 japonica rice samples.(a) AACstarch=0.168×λmaxmilledriceflour+84.522×Aλmaxmilledriceflour +0.012×λmax/Aλmaxmilledriceflour126.3021, Nanatsuboshi A;2, Kinumusume B; 3, Yumepirika A; 4, Ryunohitomi; 5, Tsuyahime A; 6, Akitakomachi; 7, Sagabiyori; 8, Yumepirika B; 9, Tsuyahime C; 10, Seitennohekireki A; 11, Datemasayume; 12, Sasanishiki A; 13, Ichihomare; 14, Yumeobako; 15, Nanatsuboshi B; 16, Morinokumasan; 17, Koshihikari B, 18, Yumeshizuku; 19, Tsuyahime B; 20, Hatsushimo; 21, Hitomebore; 22, Koshihikari A, 23, Sasanishiki B; 24, Yukiiwakamaru; 25, Ginganoshizuku; 26, Kinumusume A; 27, Seitennohekireki B.(b) Aplication of the formula to unknown samples.
