Abstract
Dissociated dislocations introduced by plastic deformation in a Cu-13.43 at.% Al alloy 38 years ago have been examined by transmission electron microscopy. The dislocations were found to extend widely and it is concluded that the Suzuki effect is responsible for the widening.
