Improving the technological conditions of drawing flux-cored welding wires

Abstract

The proposed automated program takes into account changes in the geometrical parameters during drawing, the mechanical properties and the contact friction conditions along the length of the deformation zone, and also the conditions of plastic deformation of the shell and the fracture parameters of the shell. It is shown to be possible to produce defect-free flux-cored wires at the minimum number of passes.
