Illustrates the symptom scoring for summarized somatic symptoms (A) and for summarized negative mood symptoms (B) in the entire study group (n = 19) during the menstrual cycle and OC cycle, respectively. A significant increase in summarized somatic symptom scores was found during the menstrual cycle, as compared to the OC cycle; no significant changes between cycles were found in the negative mood symptoms. The 7 days in the premenstrual phase are set to 24–28, including days 1–2.
