Jane Ellison leads the BBC's work on partnerships with the cultural and knowledge sectors around the UK, including its partnerships for the Centenary of the First World War. She chairs the BBC's Centenary Steering Group. As Commissioning Editor Radio 4, Jane commissioned the network's 2014 factual output for the Centenary and co-ordinated BBC Radio's programming. In 2010, she led A History of the World in 100 Objects, a major partnership with the British Museum. She started her career in journalism and edited The Money Programme on BBC 2. Jane is a member of the Leadership for Libraries Taskforce and the Learning and Participation Committee of the Royal Opera House.
