Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK)	Scheme allowing all women free public maternal healthcare, drugs and transport to and from maternal healthcare facilities
Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY)	A conditional cash transfer scheme in which women who deliver institutionally are entitled to 1400Rs (~20US$) following delivery
Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA)	Female workers selected from each village. Their role is to facilitate registration for antenatal care (ANC), identify health facilities for delivery, escort women to their pre-determined facility, stay with them during delivery and carry out postnatal visits. The ASHA is compensated with small financial incentives for each activity
Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM)	A female community midwife who works at each health Sub-Centre/Primary Health Centre
