Abstract
D-Л-A chromophores with tricyanopyrroline (TCP) and tricyanofuran (TCF) electronic acceptors were prepared and fully characterized using ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (Uv-vis absorption), nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H NMR), and mass spectrometry. Their first-order hyperpolarizabilities were calculated and their solvatochromisms were studied in several solvents with different polarities. Both of the chromophores showed us positive solvatochromisms and the solvatochromisms were proportional to their first-order hyperpolarizabilities. Otherwise, both of them showed us negative solvatochromisms in the alkaline environment, and their structure characters were also studied by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
