Abstract
A highly efficient liquid glass catalyzed preparation of 2-amino-4-aryl-5H-indeno[1,2-d]pyrimidin-5-one derivatives was developed through a three-component reaction of guanidine hydrochloride, aromatic aldehydes and 1,3-indandione in high yields.
