Maria Walsh is a writer and lectures in Art History and Theory at Chelsea College of Art & Design, London. She has published essays on film in journals such as Screen, Angelaki: Journal of the Theoretical Humanities, Senses of Cinema, Rhizomes, Spectator, Filmwaves, and COIL. Her research interests include film & video installations, spectatorship, phenomenology and film, and performative writing. She is working on a monograph on film installation and spectatorship.
