Abstract

(1 – x)[0.50Ba(Zr0.20Ti0.80)O3–0.50(Ba0.70Ca0.30)TiO3] – xBi0.50Li0.50TiO3 with x = 0, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06, 0.08 and 0.10 wt.% were prepared by a solid-state reaction method. The phase structure, microstructure, dielectric, ferroelectric and energy density properties of BZT–BCT–xBLT ceramics were investigated. The phase structure of the samples showed coexist phases between orthorhombic and tetragonal morphotropic phase boundary (MPB). The grain size morphology decreased with increased of x(BLT) contents. The diffuseness coefficient (γ) of ceramics are between 1.40 and 1.68, which showed the relaxor ferroelectric behavior in all the samples. The dielectric constant r ∼ 12,697) at 1 kHz can be improve with increased of x(BLT) = 0.02 wt.%. The highest recoverable energy-storage density (Wrec= 0.069 J/cm3) with an excellent energy storage efficiency (η = 95.8%) under lower electric field of 20 kV/cm were found in the composition of x = 0.08 wt.%).
