Abstract
This article examines the issues of developing behavioral strategy and shows that business education has recently been criticized for insufficiently contributing to the formation of strategic thinking. We emphasize that, given today’s turbulent environment and high levels of uncertainty, our very understanding of the strategic nature of behavior has changed significantly, a shift from the goals to the potential and dynamics of a situation’s development. In these new conditions, one of the few ways to acquire strategic behavior is through learning, so business education should take a decisive step toward creating strategic thinking among its students, using a teaching methodology aimed not at the transfer of information to learners, but to the development of their behavior. The emphasis of education must shift from knowledge and skills to values, behavioral norms, and ultimately behavior itself.
