Manoucheka Celeste is Assistant Professor at the University of Florida with a shared appointment in the Center for Gender, Sexualities, and Women’s Studies Research & African American Studies Program. She is the author of Race, Gender, and Citizenship in the African Diaspora: Travelling Blackness (2017, Routledge) and winner of the 2017 National Communication Association Outstanding Book Award from the African American Communication & Culture Division and the Black Caucus.
