Abstract
This research examines how social justice foundations are employing concepts of neoliberal social change into their texts and grantmaking practices. Through a text analysis of the publicly available documents for the fifty largest foundations by asset size focused on social justice philanthropy, this research is specifically interested in how foundations understand neoliberal social change, and how this understanding impacts the foundations grantmaking strategies to address these problems.
