Christopher Tinson

Christopher Tinson, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Africana Studies and History at Hampshire College. His interdisciplinary research and teaching focuses on the intersections between Africana radical traditions, critical media studies, and incarceration. His writings have been published in the The Black Scholar, The Journal of African American History, The Nation, The Feminist Wire, Radical Teacher, and Counterpunch. He is currently completing a book on Liberator Magazine and black activism of the 1960s, entitled Freedom on All Fronts.
