Boundary Form	Length-width ratio of boundary (λ)	$\lambda =\frac{a}{b}$	a is the long axis length of the village boundary graph, and b is the short axis length of the village boundary graph. λ≧2 indicates the boundary graph is in a banded shape, λ < 2 indicates the boundary figure is in a cluster shape.
	Boundary shape index (S)	$s=\frac{p}{p_0}$	P is the perimeter of the village boundary, and P0 is the perimeter of an ellipse with equal area and length-width ratio to the village boundary. Value of S can characterize concave and convex extent of the boundary, S≧2 indicates the concave-convex extent of the boundary is large, and the boundary graph is finger-like.
Degree of structure of village internal space	Fractal dimension of internal space (D)	$D=\frac{2lg(C/4)}{lg(A)}$	C is the perimeter of village internal space, A is the area of village internal space. The higher the D value is, the more fragmented the interior space of the village is, and the structure of internal space is more densified.
