Postscript

I read this book while excessively wasting time holidaying on a Greek island. The book affirmed the sense in my decision ‘to pause’. Even better, I enjoyed the thought that a book review counted for nothing, it would not gain me any bunny points nor a mention in the faculty’s ‘best’ publications list, or more correctly, publications in the ‘best’ journals. Even these small infringements gave me pleasure and a sense of hope.
