Martin Mills is a Research Professor in the School of Education at The University of Queensland, Australia. His research focuses on social justice issues in education. He holds a Visiting Professorship at Kings College London.

Sheila Riddell is Director of the Centre for Research in Education Inclusion and Diversity at the University of Edinburgh www.creid.ed.ac.uk. Her work focuses on social justice and equality in the fields of education, training, employment and social care. She has recently completed an ESRC fellowship on higher education and constitutional change, and holds the Kerstin Hesselgren chair at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Eva Hjörne is Director of the Platform for Research in Inclusive Education and School Development (PRIS), at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Her research interests are in the analysis of learning and social interaction, processes of marginalisation and mediated action with special focus on categorising and identity formation of students in school.
