Izhar Oplatka is a professor of Educational Administration and Leadership at The School of Education, Tel Aviv University, Israel. Email: [email protected]. His research focuses on the lives and career of school teachers and principals, educational marketing, emotions and educational administration, and the foundations of educational administration as a field of study. His most recent books include The legacy of educational administration: A historical analysis of an academic field (2010, Peter Lang Publishing); The essentials of educational administration (2015, Pardes Publisher, in Hebrew); Organizational Citizenship Behavior in Schools (2015, Routledge, with Anit Somech).

Khalid Husny Arar

Khalid Husny Arar (PhD) is a senior lecturer at the Center for Academic Studies and co-head of MA degree studies in Education Administration at Sakhnin Academic College. Email: [email protected]. His studies focus on issues of diversity, equity and ethnicity in educational leadership and higher education. He has published extensively in the last years in issues of higher education and educational leadership in scholarly journals, his most recent books include Jordinsation of Higher education among the Palestinians in Israel (2010, Floerscheimer Institute, in Hebrew, with Kussai Haj Yehia); Arab women in management and leadership (2013) New York: Palgrave, with Tamar Shapira, Faisal Azaiza and Rachel Hertz Lazarowitz).
