Conceptual paper: An exploration of time and its management for sport event managers

Abstract

In a world driven by improved productivity and global technological developments, event managers are increasingly being forced to think and act immediately. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the sports event industry where time acts as the key finite arbiter and managers are expected to plan and control this rapidly depreciating resource against complex quality and budgetary expectations.
