Ophelia Field
Ophelia Field is Director of the postgraduate Biography Programme at the University of Buckingham, taught from central London since its foundation in 1996. She is the author of two historical biographies about figures in early eighteenth-century Britain, THE FAVOURITE: SARAH DUCHESS OF MARLBOROUGH (2002, Rev. 2nd ed. 2018) and THE KIT-CAT CLUB: FRIENDS WHO IMAGINED A NATION (2008), as well as several articles, reports and chapters relating to the essay form and to her parallel career as a consultant in the human rights, refugee and migration field.
