Abstract
In this article I use a creative layered text approach to represent a multi‐reflective pedagogic ‘mystorical diary’. After theorizing the use of ‘mystory’ as a reflective practice tool, the text moves between many different positions of re‐presenting practitioner and personal narratives in relation to identity and the development of appropriate pedagogy in the context of migrating as a university lecturer from the United Kingdom to Aotearoa New Zealand. Finally, I review the worth of the experimental text as a way of taking into account complex notions of self and culture when developing reflective pedagogic practice in the context of migrating between countries.
