Notes on contributors

I have spent the last two years working in placement within school based counselling services in London, with children aged 6 to 17 years old. Prior to this I worked in NHS psychiatric crisis services and a variety of youth services including youth offending services. I have also spent the last 15 years as an advocate for mental health provision for young people diagnosed with cancer and I have worked as a mentor for newly diagnosed young people.

I hold a PG cert in Psychology of Child Development from the Institute of Education, an MSC in the Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health form Kings College London and I will complete an MSC in Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy at Birkbeck college in the summer of 2023.
