Núria Planas

Núria Planas works at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Catalonia-Spain, and is a Research Fellow at the Department of Education, University of Oxford, England-UK. Her research interests are in the study of language in mathematics education, with a focus on working with secondary school mathematics teachers for supporting the learning opportunities of marginalised groups of learners in diverse classrooms. Núria is a Member-at-Large of the ICMI Executive Committee, and in 2013 she was distinguished with an ICREA Academia Award by the Catalan Institution for Research and Advanced Studies.
