ABSTRACT

Traveling exhibits created and circulated by the National Library of Medicine can be catalysts for raising awareness of medical libraries in their institutions and for disseminating important health information in their communities. The logistics of hosting these exhibits can be daunting for small libraries with limited staff and budget but, in collaboration with capable partners, it can be done. A playbook for successful small-library planning and hosting is set forth here.
