The objective of this research was to identify and examine the factors affecting Greek hotel employees’ perception and attitudes toward empowerment. To achieve the aforementioned objective primary research was conducted among the employees of a big hotel group. Factor analysis was applied to determine a principal factor and its main components, thus allowing the measurement of human resources attitude and perception toward empowerment. At the next stage, the said factor was checked as to its correlation on the one hand with the sense of the employees about their jobs and on the other hand with the satisfaction they draw from them.
