Abstract

This article attempts to clarify related concepts with disciplines concerned with social pedagogy. It requires reflection, verification, and comparison of those involved in the study and practice to develop a common terminology. To build the foundations of a science and / or scientific discipline—Pedagogy, Social Education, Social Work—is not an easy task. We try to provide the epistemological foundations that underpin the disciplines mentioned. In general, the agents of the “social” study have not acquired the ability to think rigorously, which is essential for a profession in the process of maturation.
