Highly degrade RhB solution ability based on CNTs-doped flower-like ZnO material

Abstract

Flower-like ZnO was prepared by hydrothermal method at 120 °C in this article. The formation mechanism of flower-like ZnO was explained. The CNTs-ZnO was made by CNTs doped ZnO and its structure was tested by XRD, SEM, XPS, PL, BET. In addition, the photocatalytic degradation of RhB solution was, respectively, carried out by ZnO and CNTs-ZnO. It was confirmed that the CNTs doped ZnO has higher photocatalytic activity than pure ZnO, which displayed the doping CNTs improved the separation efficiency of electron-hole pairs. Therefore, CNTs-ZnO has potential application value in the treatment of sewage pollution.
