Figure 1. Exosomal lncRNA-mediated intercellular cross-talk within the tumor microenvironment. Exosomes are released into the extracellular environment and carry lncRNAs between tumor cells and surrounding microenvironment to expedite tumor progression by promoting angiogenesis, immune escape or drug resistance. Moreover, aberrant exosomal lncRNAs provide potential biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and prognosis.
