Abstract

Dispersion of silver nanoparticles were prepared by chemical redaction using plasma-chemical obtained Grape pomace extract as a natural reducing and stabilizing agent. A plasma-chemical-assisted extraction method have been employed as novel, rapid and friendly environmental technique to obtained of grape pomace extract. The product was characterized by UV-visible spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The reaction conditions including time and content of silver nitrate were investigated. Dynamic light scattering (DLS) was employed to measure the hydrodynamic size of nanoparticles in suspensions. The average size of formed silver particles is 55 nm. XRD analysis revealed that the particles were face-centred cubic. The zeta potential of the obtained AgNPs was found to be −25.1 mV, indicating the dispersion and stability.
