Abstract

In this study, we have studied coating method using high reflective White silicon on the whole Zener diode in order to resolve the reducing the luminance of the LED problem caused by the Zener diode that are used to achieve electrical stability of White LED. Zener chips were placed inside the LED cavity to provide electrical stability, and the highly reflective white silicon was coated all over the surface of the Zener chip to solve the problem of LED luminance degradation caused by Zener chips. As a result, LED with white silicon has higher luminance of 3.3% than LED without it.
