Disaster Resources: Going Offline

, MLIS
Pages 49-52 | Published online: 21 Feb 2018

ABSTRACT

The National Library of Medicine works to ensure the continuity of access to medical resources during emergencies and times of disaster. The Disaster Information Management Research Center provides numerous resources for mobile users to access and covers a wide range of topics. A natural progression has occurred starting back in 2009 with the one-shelf disaster library to the 2013’s digital go bag and can be continued locally by libraries with disaster devices.
