Abstract
Two coordination polymers assembled from 4,4-bipyridyl in conjunction with carboxyl groups are obtained. The crystal structures are characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffractions. The two polymers belong to the triclinic system, P-1 space group; and the monoclinic system, C2/c space group, respectively. They form 1-D chains with bipyridyl. With interchain H-bonding interactions, they change into 3D supramolecular.
