Percolation characteristics and years of stable production in Changshen gas reservoir

Pages 271-276 | Published online: 17 Feb 2017

ABSTRACT

Changshen gas reservoir is a fracture-pore volcanic reservoir and contains high content of CO2. In view of this specificity, the percolation characteristics and years of stable production are analyzed by stage balance depletion and constant flow depletion experiments. Studies show that the PGP curve is mainly affected by type of gas, pressure, and temperature. In the same conditions, the production effect of fracture-double porosity media core is better than that of matrix-single porosity media core. And the years of stable production are related to radius of single-well controlled, production of single well, and type of gas reservoir.
