ABSTRACT
In order to enhance the enzymatic saccharification and ethanol production of Alhagi sparsifolia Shap. (ASP), Camellia oleifera dregs (CD) protein and modified Zn-Ca-Fe-LDH (MH) were investigated. CD protein and MH enhanced the enzymatic conversion of ASP, and they could improve enzyme activity and stabilize yeast. The yields of reducing sugar and ethanol achieved 535.4 mg/g and 165.8 mg/g, respectively. Furthermore, the conversion yields were still high after MH was reused for 4 times repeatedly. Therefore, the utilization of recyclable MH and inexpensive CD protein are promising for enzymatic hydrolysis and fuel ethanol conversion of lignocellulose biomass.
