Houda Hamdi

Houda Hamdi is senior lecturer at the University of 8 Mai 1945 Guelma, Algeria. She is also a Fulbright visiting scholar Alumna, American University, Washington DC (2019). Her research interests include Algerian literature and cinema mainly in regard to postcolonial and gender studies. She published several articles, participated in a number of conferences, and edited a collective volume entitled Maïssa Bey: Deux décennies de créativité (L’Harmattan, 2019).

Nassira Belloula

Nassira Belloula is an Algerian-Canadian female francophone author. She published her first collection of poetry, Les Portes du Soleil, in 1988. Since then, she also published several novels including Visa pour la haine (2008), Terre des femmes (2014), Aimer Maria (2019), and J’ai oublié d’être Sagan (2020). Her works are translated into several languages including English, Italian, and Berber.
