La Potentialité de l’homonymie chez Roussel et Levé : Protocole, contrainte et dispositif

Pages 594-602 | Published online: 01 Feb 2022

Abstract

A strong kinship links Raymond Roussel’s work to that of Édouard Levé. Both are based on the exploration of the duplication of forms and the questioning of the gaps that appear when one form reveals two, or when the forms do not adhere to the objects to which they are supposed to be applied. Both Roussel’s procedural writing and Édouard Levé’s series of photographs exploit the potential of homonymy, but they proceed in different ways.
