Allison M. AlfordAllison M. Alford, Ph.D. is a Clinical Associate Professor teaching communication in the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University. She earned her doctorate in Communication Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. She researches adult daughtering, invisible labor, and work-family balance. She has authored a book and articles, as well as co-hosted a podcast about daughtering and mothering across the lifespan.
