Wang Ping
Dr. Ping Wang came from Shanghai, and earned her BA at Beijing University and her PhD at New York University (NYU). She has published fifteen books of poetry and prose: My Name Is Immigrant, Life of Miracles along the Yangtze and Mississippi, among others. She’s the recipient of NEA, Bush, Lannan, and McKnight Fellowships, and is the director of the Kinship of Rivers project. She’s also a dancer, photographer, and installation artist.
