About the Author
Polly Vizard is Associate Professorial Research Fellow at the Centre for Analysis of Social Exclusion, London School of Economics. Her main areas of research are inequality and poverty, the capability approach, rights-based approaches, and social and public policy. Recent research has focussed on national equality and human rights monitoring, the effect of the financial crisis and policy changes on distributional outcomes across different domains, especially health, and inequality in London.
