1 From 2014 a research team from Nordland Research Institute has been following the activities and results, for victims, offenders and the work done in the youth action plan. Results of this research will be published soon.
2 The new law was passed by Parliament on 1 July 2014 (Prop. 57 L (2013–2014)). Actually, the law concluded various previous modifications in criminal law, criminal procedure and the law on mediation (Prop. 57 L (2013–2014) and Prop. 135 L (2010–2011)). The proposition put to Parliament (Stortinget) from 2010–2011 was brought into force at the same time, 1 July 2014. The delay was due to a lack of funding.
