Successful World Social Forum in Tunis

Pages 521-524 | Published online: 29 Nov 2013

Abstract

More than 50,000 people from all continents came in the end of March 2013 to Tunis to attend the World Social Forum (WSF). They discussed on a global scale the combined social, economic, ecological and political crises of capitalism and how to fight collectively against them. Tunis shows—after 12 years of its existence—the importance of the WSF. It is internationally the biggest framework for members of social and ecological movements and left activists.
