Figure 1. A multi-dimensional approach to educating the U.S. public on and encouraging Covid-19 vaccination

Note. This diagram depicts a three-tier model prioritizing tenets that have proven successful in recent immunization campaigns: (1) Mobilizing existing vaccine providers includes all locations where vaccines are currently administered as well as nontraditional sites such as the workplace, school, etc. (2) Targeting high-risk groups requires age, occupation, culture, and health-sensitive advertising to groups most at risk of severe illness from Covid-19. (3) Combating safety and efficacy concerns via social marketing platforms is a core tenet of modern immunization campaigns. High-traffic and high-yield mediums should be chosen to maximize exposure.*“Affiliate/Partner Collaboration” refers to collaborative efforts with non-traditional vaccine providers and platforms (workplaces, schools, high-traffic physical and online platforms, grocery stores, etc.) to educate about and encourage vaccination among their employees/constituents.
