Abstract

This study considers some significant parameters in the manufacturing systems, such as work in process, cut of works, number of earliness, and tardiness in just-in-time systems simultaneously. Discussing these assumptions could play a vital role in creating a competitive advantage as well as managing and improving the performance of the manufacturing system elements, such as bottlenecks. We also suppose the probable breakdown and repair times for each machine. In order to solve the mathematical model, a hybrid genetic algorithm is proposed and as the efficiency of algorithm is really dependent on its parameters, we tuned the parameters using Taguchi method.
