Mary Louisa Simpson

Mary Louisa Simpson (Ph.D., University of Waikato) is a Senior Lecturer in health and organisational communication with the Waikato Management School at the University of Waikato. Her qualitative research focuses on the experiences of older people and their families with work, well-being, care, and palliative care. Since 2009 she has been Co-PI or Associate Researcher on several large externally funded grants. She is currently an Associate Researcher with a project involving community and academic researchers that focuses on Kaumātua Mana Motuhake; the potential, capacity, and ability of Māori elders.
