Table 2. The presence of hearing impairment (HI) and self-reported hearing problems according to gender and among all subjects. Hearing impairment defined as better ear hearing level (BEHL) or worse ear hearing level (WEHL) of 20 dB or more at the 0.5–4 kHz frequency range. Pearson Chi-square test was applied for gender differences.
