Benjamin Purser
Benjamin Purser graduated from the Australian National University (ANU) with a PhB in linguistics, receiving First Class Honors and the University Medal, before completing a Diploma of Performing Arts. He was lead research assistant on the Sydney Speaks project (2014-2021), publishing a recent VSR paper on dialect coaching of Australian English. Benjamin was Senior Research Officer under Felicity Cox for the ARC-funded AusKidTalk project (2019-2020), and currently tutors undergraduate linguistics at Macquarie University. He is studying a master of speech pathology at the University of Sydney, freelances as a linguistic researcher, and is a dialect and voice coach working with performers and corporate professionals.
