Figure 1. A maximum-likelihood tree was inferred from 17 mitochondrial genomes of arachnids. The phylogenetic tree was constructed based on concatenated amino acid sequences of 13 protein-coding genes. All mitochondrial genome sequences used are obtained from the GenBank database and the accession numbers are shown in parentheses. The RTA is a retrolateral tibial apophysis clade of araneomorph spiders.
