Complete chloroplast genome of the medicinal herb Veronicastrum axillare (Sieb. et Zucc.) Yamazaki and the phylogenetic relationship analysis within the tribe Veroniceae

Figure 1. Phylogenetic tree reconstruction of the newly sequenced Veronicastrum axillare and other representative plants from the Veroniceae tribe, Plantaginaceae and Scrophulariaceae family. The tree was constructed using a maximum likelihood analysis by MAGE 7.0 based on the complete chloroplast genomes. The models of K2P and G + I were selected for maximum-likelihood analyses with 500 bootstrap replicates to calculate the bootstrap values. The newly determined chloroplast genome was marked with bold. The GenBank accession numbers were listed following the species name.
